How to write a monthly budget
Things You'll Need
Write “Monthly Report” on the top of the page, followed by the name of the project. Include the month and date of the report. Add a brief overview of the project.
Include the names of project members and the number of hours worked over the past month for each employee. Provide a cumulative number of hours from the beginning of the project.
Break down the hours spent by the team, such as "Project Planning: 10 hours" or "Management: 30 hours." Make sure the number of hours specified for each aspect of the project equals the number of employee hours for the month.
Outline what your group did over the course of the past month. Include any applicable personnel updates on the project, such as a team
member's resignation from the company or a new hire.
Discuss any issues related to management. Detail things such as a passive client or project employees who missed several days of work. Discuss any management problems experienced and spell out a plan to solve the problem.
Outline the main events of the project, such as what you have accomplished and what strategies the team initiated to continue the project. Discuss the potential risks of the project or complications that your team encountered, such as bugs in a code or another problem.
Review the monthly report for any errors or any issues that you did not fully address. Make any revisions as necessary and submit the monthly report to your employer. Write the deadline for the project at the bottom of the monthly report.Source: ehow.com
