How to get 850 credit

how to get 850 credit

If you pull a credit report online, they often use a different algorithm and scoring system then a creditor would use. I've seen people pull their score online (paid for it) and been told they had a score in the mid 700s. When I pulled their credit, it was actually about 120 points lower. I saw the report they printed online, so just be careful that the report you got will reflect the same scores that the lender will use. 850 seems unrealistic. I've been in this business for about 6 years, and I've never seen a score over 820. If you have a 2 year history and are getting an 850 score there are only 2 possibilities. first, you are not getting your real score. second, you;re just making up a story to get attention on here. I hope it's the first. GL

In response to the email I received:

You claim to have a credit

score of 881? I don't know where you got that number from, but "real" credit scores only go up to 850.

There are websites pulling credit reports online that use different algorithms and come up with different scores, but these are NOT used by lenders.

Sorry if I misunderstood the total length of your credit history, but even if you have missed payments 2 and a half years ago, you "true" credit score will not be 850. Do you have a mortgage or car loans? You need these things to build credit. It's not just about not owing money or missing payments. They want to see that you do borrow money and pay it back on time.

It's funny that the only 2 people who are actually explaining credit reports on here are getting thumbs down ratings. Guess people don't like to hear the truth. Read Credit King's post. He's got it right.
