Which are the healthcare institutions where I can get subsidised medical treatment?
Officers and their dependants eligible for medical benefits can receive subsidised medical treatment at any of the following healthcare institutions:

A pensioner or his dependant who is referred by a government or restructured hospital doctor to the Singapore Gamma Knife Centre for treatment will be eligible for subsidy according to his medical benefits scheme.
A pensioner or his dependant who receives dialysis treatment at the above stated dialysis
centre will be eligible for subsidised treatment according to his medical benefits scheme. Government will subsidise the dialysis on a cost-sharing basis, up to a maximum subsidy of $190 per dialysis. For a pensioner on the Medisave-cum-Subsidised Outpatient (MSO) Scheme, the subsidy is subject to the overall cap of $350 for outpatient subsidy for the pensioner and his dependant(s).
A pensioner or his dependant requiring dialysis treatment from the list of healthcare institution shall obtain a letter from the Pensions Branch of the Accountant-General's Department stating the medical subsidy he is eligible for under his medical benefits scheme and present the letter to the dialysis centre. The letter is to enable the dialysis centre to bill the Department for the Government subsidy for the treatment. The pensioner or his dependant has to pay his share of the dialysis fee upfront to the dialysis centre. This may be in cash, or through his Medisave account or Medishield, according to the rules governing the release of funds.
The pensioner or his dependants who receives sub-acute and rehabilitation treatment at the Ang Mo Kio - Thye Hua Kwan Hospital(AMKH) will be eligible for subsidised treatment according to his medical benefits scheme. Pensioners seeking treatment at AMKH will be subjected to the Means Testing Framework.
