Eggless Gluten Free High Fiber High Protein Low Carb Low Fat Low Sugar Sugar Free Vegan
Tired of buying protein bars from the store (and shelling out all that cash for them)? Then make protein bars at home! Here are 11 popular Healthy DIY Protein Bar Recipes from Desserts with Benefits over the years — they’re all no-bake, ultra fudgy and nice and sweet, you’d never know they’re refined sugar free, gluten free, vegan and all natural. Yup, that means absolutely no preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup or artificial flavorings. Plus, I’m making an announcement. A big, MEGA huge announcement: My first cookbook, the DIY Protein Bars Cookbook . is officially PUBLISHED!
DIY Protein Bars is a collection of 48 easy, healthy, homemade, no-bake treats that taste like dessert, but just happen to be packed with protein !
In celebrating the book launch, I thought it would be fitting to share all the protein bar recipes that I’ve posted so far on this blog. I’ve posted
11 protein bar recipes over the years and they’ve always been huge hits.
The cookbook contains all brand new recipes. I didn’t want to publish the same exact recipes that were already on the blog for free… I feel like that would be unfair to those who purchased the book. Instead, the book includes improved recipes of the ones on the blog (like the DIY Red Velvet Fudge Protein Bars and oh-so popular DIY Nutella Fudge Protein Bars ), meaning that the recipes in the book are just a little easier to make (i.e. less ingredients, less steps). Every recipe has been taste-tested by the harshest of crowds too (aka my family, friends, coworkers, etc.).
Oh, and did I mention that with all the recipe-testing my freezer is literally FILLED with protein bars? Like, probably 60 or 70 of them? I barely have room for anything else. Those four months of straight recipe-testing was a b#$%* … but eating all them candy protein bars sure isn’tSource: dessertswithbenefits.com
