By Heather Murray Question: I’ve been spring cleaning my home and have a lot of old financial records taking up a lot of space. How long should I keep things like receipts and paid bills? The VIX is a number derived from the prices of options premium in the S&P 500 index (which is an index comprising 500 large cap stocks). It is a good indicator of the expectation of market volatility, note I said "expectation", it is not representative of the actual volatility or what will happen.

Excel hangs saving large files

QB-Paladin Thread Starter Joined: Aug 21, 2003 Messages: 15 I've got a PC on my network running Windows XP Pro and Office XP. When attempting to save extremely large Excel files (one is 13MB and the other is 72MB - they're full of $@$#@ charts) to a network folder, Excel locks up. This mess seemed to start after we upgraded our NT4 file server to Windows Server 2003. The Windows Server 2003 was set up by a MSCE, which I am not.
