Taxes in Ontario can be filed using NETFILE. NETFILE is a format approved by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) and supported by various tax filing software. Some of the most commonly used NETFILE compatible tax softwares are Quick Tax, Tax Studio, Acetax, Future Tax, Genutax, H&R Block and Ufile.

Gather all your income tax information including your information slips, receipts, etc.
Make sure that you have a NETFILE access code. If you don't have the access code, you can get it by either logging into your account on the CRA website using epass or calling the CRA at 1-800-714-7257.
Make sure that you update your address and direct deposit information as this information will not be transmitted through NETFILE.
Choose a NETFILE-compatible
software. Tax Studio and Quick Tax are the most commonly used tax-filing software. A list of other software can be found on the CRA website.
Fill in the forms and save your return. Tax software will generate a ".tax" file. If you are filing a joint tax return, two ".tax" files will be generated.
Type Netfile.gc.ca in your browser and click on "File Your Return" or "Ready to File" links. Accept the terms and conditions and proceed with NETFILE.
Provide your date of birth, social insurance number and NETFILE access code on the NETFILE transmission page.
Once you are validated, attach ".tax" file. Read the Information and click "I agree. File my return" button. Print the confirmation page for your records.
